Pencil Update
Black Pencil Project is happy to report that the travel exploration was successful despite of the timing. Reaching Camiguin Norte safely was already a rewarding experience. The team was almost stranded for 7 days in the island and was enough time to gather much needed information in time for future Black Pencil Project endeavors in the Babuyan. Special thanks to Dominican Father Jerome Sibug, O.P. for accommodating us as well as to Department of Education, Camiguin District for facilitating the distribution of school materials we brought. A total of 400 pieces of jumbo pencils, 2000 sheets of paper and 304 units of crayons were turned over during the visit.
