Camiguin Norte Mission’s Group Photo Exhibit featuring (6) six photographers to be launched December 14, 2009 11:00 AM at University of Santo Tomas, Main Building Lobby in support of the Send A Child To School advocacy.
It takes so little to give them hope.
In Camiguin Norte, Babuyan Islands, not all the children have the opportunity
for a decent education.
Send-A-Child-To-School is a community based advocacy of Lyceum of Camiguin, a Dominican administered Catholic high school. It aims to alleviate poverty through a good education.
For as little as P600, you can send a child to high school for one school year. It’s a small amount to pay for a hopeful future.

In July 2009, Black Pencil Project’s Project Aral Program with National Book Store Foundation reached Camiguin Norte, Babuyan Island with the assistance of Fr. Joemar Sibug O.P. of Lyceum of Camiguin.
Black Pencil Project is committed in providing assistance to Send-A-Child-To-School and considers Babuyan Islands as one of the project sites.
