Black Pencil Project “Pencils For The Mountains” Programs (Lapis Para Sa Batang Eskuwela) are back-to-school outreach done during the months of May and June prior to the start of school year for public elementary system in the Philippines.
Pencil Treks
BPP Pencil Treks is a yearly immersion outreach designed for volunteers* in partnership with private and civic organizations. This back-to-school program** aims to provide basic, start up study kits to Day Care, Grades 1, 2 & 3 pupils of impoverish, remote and indigenous communities nationwide.
Black Pencil Project delights far-flung communities with free mobile photo portraiture session using a portable and battery-operated Selphy photo printer. Dubbed as Selphy Clinic, this is a partnership forged between Canon Marketing Philippines and Black Pencil Project united on its goal to make someone happy.
*Project Aral Trek volunteers are cluster of individuals that comes from various field of industries and talents, sharing common interests in outdoors, mountaineering, photography, arts and civic works.
**Project Aral Treks are done during the months of May and June prior to the start of school year for public elementary system in the Philippines.
Selphy Clinic
A partnership with Canon Marketing Philippines, Black Pencil Project delights far-flung communities with Free – Photo Portraiture session using a portable and battery-operated Selphy Photo printer.
Through persistent partnership and collaborations, Black Pencil Project had institutionalized these two programs as permanent components.
